Kristen Spencer

Kristen Spencer is a certified physical therapist, educating the DanceRX community on how to work with their newly-discovered genetic insights.

After graduating from Samford University, Kristen then received her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida in 2002. She has been Postural Restoration Certified™ (PRC) since 2009, one of the first 50 clinicians worldwide to achieve this distinction.

Kristen has worked with a variety of athletes, from professional Olympic, collegiate, and high school, to recreational. She is highly sought out in the strength and physical therapy industries due to her in-depth in PRI®.

A US Air Force veteran, Kristen has provided care for some of the highest-ranking members of the Air Force over her decade of service.

Committed to state-of-the-art treatment concepts, Kristen founded Prosper Performance & Physical Therapy in 2017. Her mission is to treat patients and clients with the most optimal outcome for a life filled with continued activity through all stages of life. She moved away from the standard “clinic” model so that she could focus on patient outcomes, instead of succumbing to pressure to see many people in one day.

As a former competitive runner and Boston Marathon-qualifier, Kristen values a balanced fitness life filled with running, walking, hiking, and weight-lifting. She often includes her husband and two sons in on her workouts.
